Audit
Part of ZOLL's commitment to ensuring the safety of our customers' PHI is engaging a third party to audit our processes and infrastructure. Our latest audit found ZOLL’s HIPAA compliance program to be comparable and, in certain areas, better than the vast majority of the auditor’s Covered Entity clients. Furthermore, ZOLL’s maturity is years ahead of the average Business Associate. Ongoing efforts will further strengthen our systems.
Our Products
Products are not subject to HIPAA compliance. However, the products we offer do enable and support our customer’s efforts to manage compliance effectively by having reasonable safeguards in place to prevent inappropriate use, release or disclosure of PHI.
