Alex Moghadam

President

Alex Moghadam assumed leadership of the ZOLL Data Systems management team in July 2013 after serving eight years as Vice President of International Operations for ZOLL’s core resuscitation products. During this time, he more than doubled the company’s global presence and expanded the company’s reach into Japan, China, India, Eastern Europe, and the Nordic region. Prior to joining ZOLL, Alex held a variety of commercial and operational roles with Thermo Electron (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) from 1995 to 2005, which included eight years of overseas assignments in Asia and France. He holds an MBA from DePaul University, a MIM degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Loyola University of Chicago.

Heidi Newton

Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, Finance and Administration

Heidi Newton joined ZOLL Data Systems in 2012 with more than 30 years of experience in leadership and consultative positions in corporate finance and accounting. Her key experiences and roles include process design and improvement, financial management and reporting, acquisitions, mergers, human resources administration, corporate tax and financing, systems integration, and audit. Heidi has an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree. She earned her CPA certificate and license in the State of California.

Chas Fuller

Vice President, Technology

Chas leads engineering, operations, and product strategy for ZOLL Data Systems software solutions. He’s passionate about building great products that solve real problems in healthcare by utilizing the latest technologies, tools, and processes. Chas joined ZOLL Data Systems in 2017 and has 20+ years of experience in software, with over 16 of those years in healthcare. He has a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Colorado and still likes to write code at work and at home when he gets a chance. Chas and his wife enjoy traveling, enjoying the outdoors, attempting to train their dog, and corrupting their nieces and nephews.

Fred Barnes

Vice President, North American Sales

Fred Barnes joined ZOLL Data Systems in 2019. As Vice President of North American Sales, Fred is responsible for driving all sales efforts for ZOLL Data Systems, leading the direct sales teams as well as business development and partnerships with third-party partner/reseller programs. Previously, Fred ran sales, operations, and customer success for an industry-leading field service automation SaaS company. Additionally, he has held executive leadership positions for multiple Fortune 500 companies including AT&T and Comcast. Fred has an extensive background in computer science and technology with a tremendous amount of experience bringing new and disruptive technology products to market.

Rick Clyne

Vice President, Marketing

Rick Clyne joined ZOLL Data Systems in 2017, bringing more than 25 years of marketing and communications experience to the role. He has spent his career in information technology and healthcare, most recently working in the healthcare supply chain with Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), where he drove the company’s transformation to a digital- and content-marketing focused organization. He holds a master's in history from the University of Colorado and a bachelor's degree in technical communication from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.

Jenny Carman

Vice President, Customer Support and Operations

As Vice President, Customer Support and Operations, Jenny is responsible for managing the customer implementation and support teams for ZOLL Data Systems. Jenny joined the leadership team in March 2023 with over 17 years of experience in the healthcare IT services and support industry, where she developed a passion for partnering with customers to improve patient outcomes and business operations. Jenny holds an MBA from the University of Colorado - Denver and dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Information Systems and Spanish for Business from the University of Colorado - Boulder. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two sons, as well as staying close to home to enjoy all the beauty that Colorado has to offer.
