Meet the Speaker

Holly Shryock has 21 years of experience in the community care industry. Her experience runs the gamut, from front-end authorization management and claims processing, to national operational oversight for claims processing. As the national provider engagement manager, Holly provides training, education, and support to community providers across the country. Holly’s work includes account resolution activities and a focus on improving processes and systems designed to service VA staff and customers. Previously, she served as a regional officer for the office of community care, payment operations, and management.

Meet the Speaker

As VTP Director, Ben Williams leads a 15-member team charged with facilitating access to VA healthcare, and support services for Veterans and their families through three distinct transportation programs. VTP oversees, manages and/or administers the nationwide execution of VHA’s Beneficiary Travel Program (averaging over 14M+ reimbursement claims for approximately $1B annually), the Veterans Transportation Service (over 500K transports for Veterans across over 100 VAMCs in FY20), and the Highly Rural Transportation Grants (HRTG) Program (14 grantees for approx. $3M). Ben holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. He earned his Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma during his time at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), is a Certified Defense Financial Manager, and is a certified Level-3 DoD Financial Manager.
