Alex assumed leadership of the ZOLL Data Management team in July 2013 after serving eight years as Vice President of International Operations for ZOLL’s core resuscitation products. During this time, he more than doubled the company’s global presence and expanded the company’s reach into Japan, China, India, Eastern Europe and the Nordic region. Prior to joining ZOLL, from 1995 to 2005, Alex held a variety of commercial and operational roles with Thermo Electron (now Thermo Fisher Scientific), which included eight years of overseas assignments in Asia and France. He holds an MBA from DePaul University, a Master of international management degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Loyola University of Chicago. In his spare time, Alex is likely to be found outdoors, hiking, camping, mountain biking and skiing.
Greg joined ZOLL in 2012 as Medical Director, for the ZOLL Resuscitation and Data Divisions. He is an Emergency Medical Services physician, educator, and specialist with over 30 years’ experience in data and performance improvement. Greg demonstrates a passion for building integrated Systems of Care and for using real-time data, analytics and decision support to improve operational and care related outcomes. Greg was recognized by the Journal of Emergency Medical Services as a member of the inaugural group of Top “Innovators in EMS.” Prior to joining ZOLL, Greg was the Director of Innovation and a Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He served as the longest tenured North Carolina State EMS Medical Director and was the founder of the Emergency Medical Services Performance Improvement Center (EMSPIC). Greg received his medical degree from the University of Missouri and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Wake Forest University. Greg was the original principal investigator for the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS), the standard for EMS data and electronic health record systems. He is a member of and has served in leadership roles for multiple professional organizations including the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP), the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO). Greg, along with his wife Cindy, enjoy North Carolina’s dolphins, surf, sand and coast.
Heidi joined ZOLL in 2012 with more than 30 years of experience in a variety of leadership and consultative positions in corporate finance and accounting. Her key experiences and roles include process design and improvement, financial management and reporting, acquisitions, mergers, human resources administration, corporate tax and financing, systems integration, and audit. Heidi has her MBA and Bachelor of Science degrees, and earned her CPA certificate and license in the State of California. In her spare time, Heidi keeps busy with her family and the great Colorado outdoors.
Rick joined ZOLL in 2017, bringing more than 25 years of marketing and communications experience to the role. He has spent his career in information technology and healthcare, most recently working in the healthcare supply chain with Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), where he drove the company’s transformation to a digital- and content-marketing focused organization. Rick is an award-winning author with books published in both fiction and non-fiction. He holds a Master’s in history from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor degree in technical communication from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. His free time is filled with cooking, reading, running, piano playing and touring the Colorado high country on his motorcycle. He also plays an occasional round of painfully mediocre golf.
