Kurt Sandstrom
Vice President and General Manager, EMS
Kurt joined ZOLL in 1999 as a territory manager in EMS sales. During his tenure, he has progressed through positions in sales, sales leadership, and most recently, General Manager for ZOLL divisions including ZOLL Medical, Data Systems, Cardiac Management Solutions, and Acute Care Technology. He is currently responsible for the commercial operations in EMS for North America, Latin America, and the EMEA region. He also oversees Customer Success for the ZOLL software and data solutions portfolio, the field support teams for the EMS capital business, and the accounts receivable optimization business. Outside of ZOLL, Kurt held sales positions at Medtronic in Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Rhythm Management. Kurt has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kearney State College.
Jenny Carman
Vice President, Customer Support and Operations
As Vice President, Customer Support and Operations, Jenny is responsible for managing the customer implementation and support teams for ZOLL Data Systems. Jenny joined the leadership team in March 2023 with over 17 years of experience in the healthcare IT services and support industry, where she developed a passion for partnering with customers to improve patient outcomes and business operations. Jenny holds an MBA from the University of Colorado - Denver and dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Information Systems and Spanish for Business from the University of Colorado - Boulder. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two sons, as well as staying close to home to enjoy all the beauty that Colorado has to offer.
Samir Tailor
Vice President, Product Management and Strategy
Samir joined ZOLL Data Systems in August of 2021 as Vice President, Product Management and Strategy. He is responsible for leading the Product Management, UX, and Strategy execution. Samir has more than 25 years of experience transforming enterprise software and CAPEX business models to SaaS and recurring revenue models. His experience spans healthcare, telecom, automotive, and consumer electronics hardware and software products. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Wayne State University. Samir and his wife enjoy playing golf, traveling, and cheering their two boys on in volleyball and soccer.
