    Anthony Guerne

    Anthony Guerne began his career in EMS in 1990 as an emergency medical technician. He became a paramedic in 1994 and began working in the City of New York as a critical care transport specialist. He also started teaching new EMT’s and paramedics with a variety of educational agencies. After almost 20 years as a clinician Antony took a full-time educational role as the simulation specialist at the NYIT-College of Osteopathic Medicine. After opening the simulation center for the Department of Anesthesia at Columbia University he moved on to the Adelphi University College of Nursing and Public Health as their simulation specialist, where he remains today. He has continued working as a paramedic for the Greenlawn Fire District in Suffolk County, New York. Anthony lives in Hauppauge, New York with his wife Jennifer and their two children Abby and A.J.
