Elizabeth L. Angeli
Elizabeth L. Angeli, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in Marquette University’s English Department where she specializes in technical communication in emergency settings. Her book, Rhetorical Work in Emergency Medical Services: Communicating in the Unpredictable Workplace, focuses on the processes–learned and innate–that support medical documentation in EMS. She currently is researching and building a writing curriculum for a three-year training program for a local urban fire department. She received her Ph.D. in rhetoric and composition from Purdue University and has held a National Registry Emergency Medical Technician-Basic certification, and you can learn more about her teaching and research at http://lizangeli.com.
