John Michael’s career as a paramedic in EMS has spanned 29 years. His background also includes working as a Tactical Medic with the county SWAT Team and as a Flight Medic on a helicopter service in northern Colorado. John’s passion for teaching comes from wanting to make as big an impact as possible in taking care of his community – to help not just the patients he personally cares for but every person who finds themselves in a paramedic’s care. Medicine and EMS are always changing and it’s very easy to get left behind if you don’t learn every day. Personal mantra: “Good enough” is one day in your life. “Getting better” is your lifetime.
