Lee Varner

Lee Varner is the Patient Safety Director for EMS Services at the Center for Patient Safety. Lee has worked in a variety of capacities in EMS. He has been a flight paramedic in Omaha Nebraska, a paramedic for the St. Charles County Ambulance District and the EMS Coordinator for Mercy Hospital Saint Louis. Lee’s frontline experience gives him the understanding and ability to connect to the needs of EMS professionals. Lee holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in EMS and a Master’s of Science Degree in EMS from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska He is also a certified Just Culture Trainer. Lee is also a founding member of the National EMS Safety Council and an active member of the NAEMT.
